Our chapter at the University of Houston was founded on November 22, 2003. Since then we have had seven rush classes of many distinguished gentlemen. These gentlemen are from a variety of backgrounds as well as cultures.

Currently we have an active roster of about 17 members and a similar amount of alumni. Over the last year we have had the largest rush classes of any of the fraternities on campus. Each semester brings in a group of gentlemen that will drive our chapter in the future.
Our current chapter is full of students from just about every department on campus. We have a very strong membership of HRM and Business Majors. We also have people in pharmacy, physics, computer science, and many others.
We pride our chapter on being the most culturally diverse Social Fraternity on Campus. We have students from all over the world including Germany, Turkey, Columbia, Mexico, and Guatemala. This diversity makes us a strong brotherhood that has a worldly prospective on life. This really exemplifies our creed as seen on the top of this page.
The gentlemen of Sigma Pi at the University of Houston are extremely motivated to make our chapter the best on campus. We are currently working on developing our house at Bayou Oaks to make it versatile and a great gathering place. On campus we have been doing an ACE (Altruistic Campus Experience) project every year. The last couple of projects included raising alcohol awareness as well as safe sex awareness.
Not only do we do socially enriching activities but we also do many fun and exciting things. In the fraternity you get a chance to create life long friends that will be able to help you out in anything from school to jobs. Sigma Pi is heavily involved in intramurals. We have even won the overall intramural championship before. At University of Houston the intramurals include sports such as flag football, softball, soccer, volleyball, and even ping pong.
We also do brotherhood events to let everyone have a good time together. Last semester we went paintballing and will do so this year as well. Other examples of things we do is: sporting events, movie nights at the house, gatherings, group trips during breaks, and many other things.
